Tacombi Taco Restaurant, Nolita, New York
This new Taco joint, named by combining “Taco” and “combi” – the name for the camper van in Mexico, is dishing up a visual treat on Elizabeth Street in Nolita NY.
Combining Food Network chef Aaron Sanchez with Monterrey born Dario Wolos and you get this. A garage with authentic Mexican touches, tables silkscreened with their newly invented Mexican style beer brands (but made in Brooklyn) and even a line in sodas for the kids.
Add the fact that this is in NoLiTa – another place named for a blend of locations and you have the perfect blend of North and South of the Border
